All agreements are entered into with NPROD Kommanditbolag. Invoices and other payment documents are issued by NPROD Kommanditbolag, which is the legal contracting party behind Selfiebooth.se.
These terms and conditions apply to bookings and rentals of photo booths, photography equipment, event equipment and related services provided through Selfiebooth.se.
These terms apply to both private individuals and businesses unless otherwise stated in the agreement. For private individuals, mandatory consumer protection legislation always takes precedence over any conflicting provisions in these terms.
2. Bookings and Agreements
Booking enquiries may be submitted through our website, by email or through another agreed communication channel.
Submitting a booking enquiry does not automatically reserve a particular date or piece of equipment.
A booking becomes binding when the customer has accepted our offer and we have confirmed the booking in writing, for example by email.
The booking confirmation shall specify the agreed arrangements, including the relevant equipment or service, date, location, rental period, price and any additional services.
By entering into an agreement, the customer accepts these terms and conditions, provided that the customer has been given the opportunity to review them before entering into the agreement.
Any specific arrangements stated in a quotation or booking confirmation take precedence over these general terms and conditions.
3. Equipment and Scope of Services
The equipment and services included in the rental are specified in the relevant quotation or booking confirmation.
Rental of our standard photo booth normally includes:
- A photo booth equipped with a camera and photographic lighting.
- Transportation, setup and dismantling as agreed.
- Instructions on how to operate the equipment.
- Unlimited photo prints during the agreed rental period.
- Customisation of text or logos on photo prints as agreed.
- Support during the agreed rental period.
- Digital copies of the photographs taken during the event.
Unlimited prints means that no specific quantity limit applies during the agreed rental period. The actual number of prints depends on factors such as the number of photo sessions and the printing speed of the equipment.
Optional extras, such as custom branding, props, backdrops, video features, additional rental hours or other event equipment, are only included if specifically agreed upon.
For other equipment, such as sound equipment, tents, inflatable attractions and machines, the included accessories, delivery arrangements and any setup services are specified in the relevant booking confirmation.
4. Prices and Payment
The price is specified in the quotation or booking confirmation accepted by the customer.
For private customers, the total price, including VAT and mandatory charges, is stated before the agreement is concluded. For business customers, prices may be quoted excluding VAT, provided this is clearly indicated.
Any costs for transportation, additional rental hours, special setup arrangements, dismantling after midnight or other extras shall be communicated before the customer approves them.
Unless otherwise agreed, payment is made by invoice with a payment term of 14 days. For bookings made at short notice, advance payment may be required if agreed upon.
Invoices are issued by NPROD Kommanditbolag, company registration number 969707-3501. Payment shall be made to the recipient and in accordance with the instructions stated on the invoice.
In the event of late payment, interest may be charged in accordance with the Swedish Interest Act (Räntelagen). A payment reminder fee of up to SEK 60 may be charged in accordance with the Swedish Act on Compensation for Debt Collection Costs. Continued non-payment may result in the matter being referred to a debt collection agency in accordance with applicable law.
5. Cancellation
Cancellations must be communicated as soon as possible. We recommend submitting cancellations in writing to info@selfiebooth.se to avoid misunderstandings.
If a customer cancels a confirmed booking, the following cancellation policy applies:
- 21 days or more before the event: Free cancellation.
- 8–20 days before the event: A cancellation fee of 25% of the agreed price.
- 1–7 days before the event: A cancellation fee of 50% of the agreed price.
Bookings cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled delivery time are non-refundable.
Cancellation fees are intended to cover, among other things, reserved equipment, planning and lost opportunities to accept other bookings.
Costs for specially ordered or already produced materials, such as customised decorations, may be charged separately if such costs have been agreed upon in advance.
If the customer has made an advance payment exceeding the amount we are entitled to retain, the difference will be refunded.
6. Rescheduling
Rescheduling to another date may be offered subject to availability.
Requests for rescheduling should be made as early as possible. A new date is only confirmed once we have approved it in writing.
If rescheduling results in additional costs, such as extra transportation, changes to the scope of services or custom work already completed, these costs must be approved by the customer before the rescheduling becomes binding.
If we are unable to offer an alternative date, the booking will be handled in accordance with the cancellation terms and applicable law.
7. Right of Withdrawal
Bookings of Selfiebooth’s photo booths and associated event services for a specific date or period fall under the exemption for leisure activities scheduled for a specific date or period, pursuant to Chapter 2, Section 11, first paragraph, item 12 of the Swedish Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act (2005:59).
This means that the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to such bookings.
A confirmed booking is binding and cannot be withdrawn under the standard withdrawal period provided by the Swedish Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act, regardless of how far in advance the booking is made.
If the customer wishes to cancel a booking, the cancellation terms set out in Section 5 apply instead.
This provision does not affect the customer’s statutory rights in the event of defective services or failure to deliver the agreed services.
8. Delivery, Setup and Access to the Venue
For bookings that include delivery and setup, Selfiebooth is responsible for transporting and installing the equipment at the agreed location.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that we have access to the venue at the agreed times for delivery, setup, maintenance and dismantling.
The customer must inform us in advance of any circumstances that may affect delivery or installation, such as:
- Stairs, lifts or difficult-to-access areas.
- Limited loading and unloading facilities.
- Special access, parking or security requirements.
- Limited electrical power supply.
- Outdoor locations or other conditions that may require special equipment.
The installation area must be suitable for the booked equipment and meet any requirements communicated by us before the event.
Photo booths must normally be placed on a stable, dry surface, protected from rain and moisture. Outdoor installations require our approval and, where necessary, appropriate weather protection.
If the venue is unavailable or the agreed conditions have not been met, both parties should first attempt to find a practical solution.
Reasonable and documented additional costs arising from circumstances for which the customer is responsible may be charged to the extent permitted by law and the agreement.
9. Use of and Responsibility for Equipment
All rented equipment remains the property of Selfiebooth or its rightful owner throughout the rental period.
The customer must ensure that the equipment is used in accordance with the instructions provided upon delivery or handover.
The equipment must not be moved, dismantled, opened, modified or used for purposes other than those intended without our approval.
The customer must take reasonable precautions to protect the equipment against damage, theft, moisture, unauthorised handling and other foreseeable risks.
When renting equipment requiring additional safety precautions, such as inflatable attractions, electrical machines or heating equipment, all applicable safety and operating instructions must be followed. Any requirements regarding supervision, placement and operation will be communicated in connection with the rental.
The customer is responsible for damage or loss caused intentionally or through negligence, including inadequate supervision where the customer is responsible for such supervision.
Compensation must be reasonable and reflect the actual damage, such as necessary repair costs or the value of the equipment in the event of loss. The equipment’s age, condition and normal wear and tear shall be taken into account.
The customer is not responsible for normal wear and tear or defects resulting from the condition of the equipment or circumstances for which Selfiebooth is responsible.
Any damage, theft or equipment malfunction must be reported to us without undue delay.
10. Technical Issues and Malfunctions
We are responsible for providing equipment that is functional and complies with the agreed specifications.
If a technical issue occurs during the rental period, the customer must contact us as soon as possible so that we have an opportunity to investigate and resolve the problem.
We will first attempt to restore functionality through troubleshooting, technical support, repairs or replacement equipment where possible.
If the equipment does not function as agreed due to circumstances for which we are responsible, the customer may be entitled to a price reduction, refund or other compensation depending on the nature, duration and consequences of the malfunction.
Interruptions caused by circumstances such as power failures at the venue, unauthorised handling or other factors beyond our control will be assessed based on the cause of the problem and the respective responsibilities of the parties.
We cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation of external services, internet connections or third-party platforms. However, where such functionality is expressly included in the agreement, we remain responsible for our contractual obligations in accordance with applicable law.
11. Photographs, Videos and Digital Delivery
When renting a photo booth, photographs and, where such functionality has been ordered, video recordings may be created during the event.
Photo prints are provided during the agreed rental period. Digital photographs will be delivered after the event in the agreed manner and within a reasonable time.
The customer has the right to use the delivered photographs and videos for the agreed purposes, subject to applicable copyright laws, data protection legislation and the rights of individuals appearing in the material.
Selfiebooth will not use identifiable photographs or videos from an event for its own marketing purposes without the necessary permissions and legal basis. We will not publish material publicly simply because someone has used the photo booth.
If the customer orders features for digital sharing, email delivery or publication through external platforms, the use of these features is governed by the specific agreement and applicable data protection legislation.
We are responsible for personal data processing where we determine the purposes and means of processing. Where we process personal data on behalf of a business customer, a separate data processing agreement may be required.
The event organiser must inform participants about any photography and direct them to the relevant privacy information. This does not replace Selfiebooth’s own obligation to provide information to data subjects under the GDPR.
We are not responsible for a customer’s independent and unlawful publication or further use of photographs or videos, unless we have contributed to the infringement or are otherwise liable under applicable law.
12. Personal Data and Privacy
NPROD Kommanditbolag processes personal data to manage enquiries, quotations, bookings, deliveries, invoicing, customer service and any complaints.
This information may include names, contact details, billing information and other details provided by customers in connection with their bookings.
Personal data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable legislation.
Where photographs or videos that can identify individuals are processed, specific procedures apply regarding access, storage, delivery and deletion.
